Subway Fault: identify the obstacle before the route
Use the released route clues to separate its moving hazards from the Reach anchors that open after completion.
| Route clue | Why it matters | Player check |
|---|---|---|
| Warped transit space | This is a Fault activity, not a conventional Manhattan street route. | Confirm the activity name in the in-game objective. |
| Moving trains | The environment itself is a traversal hazard. | Read the movement cycle before crossing; do not rely on a guessed shortcut. |
| Mold opposition | Combat and movement occur in the same route. | Keep space for a dodge instead of committing to a long attack next to a hazard. |
| Reach reward | The demonstrated payoff is a movement tool, not a slotted Combat Ability. | After the unlock, reconsider gaps that were previously inaccessible. |

Route at a glance
The route follows Dylan through moving trains, warped architecture and Mold in an underground Fault. The mission identity and Reach reward are established; room-by-room steps are only included when the entry condition and checkpoint can be reproduced.
To place the demonstrated route, check the confirmed map index before relying on a screenshot for directions.
The important progression result is Reach, a grappling-style movement unlock. Its role is traversal rather than a slotted Combat Ability.

What to prepare for
Watch the moving environment and follow its visual cues instead of assuming a straight path. Keep a safe landing available before committing to a long attack beside a train hazard.
The mission's durable reward is Reach. Once it is unlocked, return to anchor routes that previously separated Dylan from the next platform.

What the Subway Fault unlocks
The Subway Fault is a transit-themed Search for Jesse route with moving trains, Mold pressure and the Reach traversal reward. It is a specific mission, not a generic name for every Fault.
Complete it when Reach anchors are blocking other routes, then revisit the separated platform. Collectible claims still need an item-specific location rather than a guessed total.

What the released Subway Fault route establishes
The Subway Fault is an underground Search for Jesse route with moving trains, Mold pressure and the Reach movement reward. It shows how traversal and combat meet inside a Fault without implying that every Fault uses the same obstacle pattern.
Enter from Railyard Street Station in the Evacuation Zone, cross the active tracks and clear the Mold on the opposite platform before using the television to enter the Fault. After meeting Jesse, use the new Reach points to complete the ritual and climb back out; the Patterned Metro Tunnels fast-travel door is available along the exit route.

Subway Fault: what players need to know
If a Reach anchor is blocking your route, complete the Subway Fault branch first and then revisit the separated platform.
