Compare PC requirementsGame info / platform access
Compare current platform availability and access methods, then separate Xbox Play Anywhere from Game Pass and store availability from measured performance.

The game released digitally on September 24, 2026. GeForce NOW is available, the Steam version can be installed on Deck, and the Xbox store requires a purchase even when an eligible Game Pass plan is used for cloud play. No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced.
Release timing is only part of the decision. Purchase model, cross-device access and the information still missing can change which version fits you.

We use the available information to match each platform with a type of player. This is a decision guide, not a universal ranking.

See PlayStation modesA qualifying digital Xbox purchase is the confirmed route for playing across Xbox console and Xbox on PC with shared progress.
Understand the entitlementSteam Deck support and GeForce NOW are announced, but neither statement is a measured-performance guarantee for your setup.
Check the remaining limitsThe names appear together in Xbox searches, but they answer two different buying questions.
Xbox Play Anywhere is confirmed at launch for a qualifying digital Xbox purchase, with saves, add-ons and achievements carried between Xbox console and Xbox on PC.
The Xbox store checked on October 19, 2026 requires a game purchase. Its cloud-play note names eligible Game Pass plans for cloud access, but does not list the game as included with Game Pass.
Store availability tells us the option exists. Measured frame rate, battery life, queue time and regional availability answer whether it works well for a particular player.
The Steam version is available, but a Valve compatibility badge and measured handheld performance are separate questions. We would not turn desktop GPU targets into an expected Deck frame rate.
A supported store copy, connected account, suitable service plan and regional availability still matter. It is not a Game Pass entitlement.
Steam and Mac App Store plans are announced, but there is no exact launch day or final Mac hardware chart yet.
No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced. Hardware comparisons are not evidence that a port is planned. Retail placeholders, hardware comparisons and another Remedy game on Nintendo hardware are not enough for us to call this version real.
The digital release is available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, with GeForce NOW support. The announced Mac release follows later in 2026.
The Xbox store checked on October 19, 2026 requires a game purchase. It lists cloud play with eligible Game Pass plans, but does not list the game as included with Game Pass.
A qualifying digital Xbox purchase can be played on Xbox console and Xbox on PC without buying it twice, with saves, add-ons and achievements carried between supported devices.
The Steam version is available, but a Valve Verified or Playable badge, measured frame rate, recommended preset and battery-life result are separate questions.
No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced. The PC requirements do not confirm or rule out a future console port.
No. GeForce NOW streams supported games through connected stores and service availability, while Game Pass is a subscription game library. One does not confirm access through the other.
